Vintage Chanel Rabbit Lapin Fur Muff Bag Hand Warmer Chain Shoulderbag.

We offer this very rare Chanel bag from 2001. The bag offers vintage lapin rabbit fur with a removable gold tone hardware and leather woven strap. The fur is super soft and begs to be caressed. A back zippered pocket is lined in polyester and large enough for essentials only and can be used to store the removable shoulder or cross body strap. Keep your hands warm by placing them inside the bag from either side. The interior is filled with down. 

The bag is 20 years old and shows age. The bag may be repaired as there is a small tear in the fur, strap and the strap holders should be reinforced. The vintage fur would benefit from a professional cleaning, Please look at the last 3 photos, one shows the small tear, one shows the strap needs to be tacked down at one end and one shows the satin loop holding the metal circle to attach the chain should be reinforced. These repairs are not extensive. A handy seamstress could repair these issues very easily.
